You are cordially invited to join us for “Bringing Unknown Patterns into View: The Critical Vision of Robert B. Stepto.”
We are moved by Robert Stepto’s scholarship and the example he has set by generating that work from one place: here at Yale, during a 40-year career centered in African American Studies but also in collaboration with his other intellectual homes–in the Departments of English and American Studies, at Beinecke Library and the Yale University Art Gallery.
Robert Stepto has long embraced the interdisciplinarity which defines what we aspire to do.
The celebration will be an all-day affair, from 9am to 6pm, featuring original work by an outstanding group of Professor Stepto’s former students.
Free and open to the public. No physical tickets are required. Kindly register to indicate that you will attend. Thank you.
