The Institute Library will present its second annual Tellabration, an evening of stories for adults presented by members of the Library's storytelling workshop series. Join us at 7:00 p.m. for a tour of the Library with Executive Director Natalie Elicker, where you may get to meet our newest, oldest book!
Saul Fussiner, Wendy Marans and Sharen McKay will return from last year's successful performance; they will be joined by newcomers Yasmin Amico, Debra Thurston, and Jezrie Marcano-Courtney, as well as M.C. Cathy Shufro.
They will offer a blend of humor and seriousness, focused largely on relationships with parents and grandparents. We will wander from an island off the coast of Maine through a hospital room and beyond, and will learn how a jackknife, a coffee maker, a cigarette case and other prosaic objects can stand for much larger things.
Come and enjoy!
Admission is free; donations are accepted.
