This fall, the Gallery is pleased to present a series of programs surrounding the work of renowned South African multimedia artist William Kentridge. A special installation at the Gallery, featuring two video works and a selection of prints by the artist, showcases his masterful approach to exploring themes such as violence, fear, the relationship between text and image, and the legacies of art, literature, and science.
In November, Yale Repertory Theatre’s No Boundaries performance series presents two showings of Kentridge’s new work Refuse the Hour; question-and-answer sessions follow both performances.
On Sunday, November 8, the artist delivers a special talk as part of the Gallery’s Andrew Carnduff Ritchie Lecture series.
Tickets are required for the viewings of Refuse the Hour on November 6–7 and are available for purchase at yalerep.org or 203.432.1234.
