Tuesday shows at 6pm & 7pm, Sunday show at 3pm
The observatory is open to the public every Tuesday night except for during Yale's Winter Break. Every Tuesday night we present planetarium shows, and, if the skies are clear, we open up our telescopes for public viewing of stars, planets, and nebulae at the end of twilight.
Check our twitter feed (twitter.com/lfop) to find out if it will clear enough for observing on a given Tuesday night. We are also sometimes open to the public on other nights for special celestial events (such as eclipses, comets, etc.) or for special lectures, classes, etc.
Admission to Tuesday public shows costs $5/person. Children under 13 and Yale students are free.
