Alana Ladson: Queens

Alana Ladson is a self-taught artist who paints, draws and works in graphic design and digital media. Queens highlights the beauty of black women and their natural hair and skin colors. This exhibition aims to peacefully expose their beauty in a way that is relatable and thoughtful to all audiences.  Ladson lives in New Haven and this year participated in Artspace's City Wide Open Studios.
