“Awake, psaltery and harp: I will rouse the dawn!”

The NHSO teams up with the vocal forces of the Worchester Chorus for Leonard Bernstein’s choral masterpiece, Chichester Psalms. Referred to by Bernstein as a “prayer for peace,” this dramatic work will uplift and inspire. Program highlights also include Vaughan Williams’ luscious Five Variants of “Dives and Lazarus” and the world premiere of new arrangements of the beloved American spirituals, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot; Go Down, Moses; and Steal Away featuring dynamic guest soprano Dana Fripp.
