2016 Book Plates: An Evening to Benefit the Institute Library

  • The Institute Library 847 Chapel Street New Haven, CT, 06510 United States (map)

Please join us for an evening of food, fellowship, and fundraising in support of the Institute Library, New Haven's oldest independent lending library and one of the last remaining membership libraries in North America.

This special evening includes dinner at a New Haven restaurant of your choice in the company of a special guest (click the links for bios and restaurant information):

Following dinner, join us at the Library for desserts courtesy of Whole G and Tony's Square Donuts, a signature cocktail by 116 Crown, coffee from A Happy Life, wine from Eder Brothers, a silent auction, and a short program. Music will be provided by Adam Matlock.

Attendees also receive a special commemorative book plate, suitable for framing, created by New Haven artist George Corsillo and letter-press printed by Dexterity Press. Limited editions of prior years' book plates are also available for purchase.

5:30 p.m.: Registration & dinner at selected restaurant
8:00 p.m.: The Institute Library for the evening’s event
